Default Predator?

Need to try something a little different and I've got the need for speed. I see the lanier predator for $129 looks like a good deal. I've got an os 46fx sitting around. What is the right pipe and prop to get this thing going fast?

Well I would think a 9x8 APC would turn up pretty well on there... If you want a little extra power the Tower Muffler is $15- if you want more tha that, but prefer bolt-on horses, try a Jett-Stream Muffler or Ultrathrust muff. if you like the full shiny customize-able pipe, a MACS 7.5CC tuned pipe will get you happy-

I would keep an eye out for a Jett-50 on sale in the swap-shop or on Jettengineering.com This combo is guaranteed to kick some booty- (Then you can try pylon props. or just an APC 9x9 [X(])

Keep us posted!

With an O.S. FX stock, you should have no problem getting over 120 mph with the predator. The tower muffler is cheap power, but the Ultrathrust or Jett mufflers will give it a little more juice.

As too props, if you go with the stock muffler, the pylon props in the 8.8x8.75 up to 8.8x9.25 seem to work best for top speed.

Thanks guys, ordered a predator and 1 8.75x8.75 and 1 8.75x9. Planning on getting that Jett muffler also.If it goes fast enough for me I'll stick with the os,if I feel I'm needing more speed then I'll look into the jett 50. Cant wait.
