Compensator with Jett 90 thoughts
Hi Guys,
Well unfortunately my old F-1 I posted on here with the modified Super Tigre X45 met it's end on New Years Day. Of all things I hit a damn bird and it blew the back end of the plane off. Oh well on to the next project
I have an old Compensator kit from the early 1980's. This was a rear exhaust ship and with the Rossi 61 I had in there it really went. Well I have another kit on the shelf and was thinking about building it for the Jett 90 FIRE, what do you guys think?
Thanks,
David

Hello,
Yes I can say it was definitely a no win situation for either my plane or the bird. I actually didn't realize what happed until I found the plane and there were feather imbeaded in spots [&o]

I have a new in box Southern RC Compensator kit in the shop, and have been considering the same thing
The original Compensator was/is configured for side exhaust. Although, I flew one in pattern for a while with a custom canopy/pipe tunnel powered by an OSVR61 for a few years (boy I loved that plane).
So the toss up is, do I powere it with 2005 power, or 1975 power (blue head). Not sure yet. Probably won't end up getting built for another year yet.
Sorry to hear about the F-1 ship...... I know that was a killer machine!
