looking for the fastest airplan
hi to all,
i had a balsacraft rapier (its a delta) with a webra 50 on it.
it was very fast and now its crashed.. after having it for 2 years!
now i'm looking for a new project and i want to know what is the best formula for getting speed
i mean by that:
1) which kind of aircraft? (delta, jet like, Q500, ducted fan or even an electrical one)
2) which engine? i loved my webra but i see here you all talking about jett, so wich kind?
3) what prop? in my webra a 11*7 was better than 10*8 so i don't know
please help me

You had a pretty fast plane with the WEBRA .50. I don't have any experience with them, but those WESTON MAGNUMS look pretty hot. I think a DIAMOND DUST will give most guys the most all around fun and very good speed for the money. I don't think a 11" prop is meant for speed in a clean plane with light weight in the .50 size category, you want to be using an 8x9 or 8x10 with the WEBRA .50 in a DIAMOND DUST.

I agree... 11x7 inches of prop on that poor Webra 50... even a "normal" 10x6 will probably get you more speed than that 11x7.
I still think the cheapest, easiest speed fix is a Magnum-West combo... or a Diamond Dust with a nice Jett.. or even with that same West.
If you want to put that Webra 50 into good use: get a Dust and a Jettstream muffler... use a 9x7 prop... and let it rip!
