Default B&D retract problem

Could someone tell me where to start with this? This is my first time using these. So I don't know if they are broken or if I'm missing something basic.

Everything is hooked up. The mains work fine. But nothing at all happens with the nose gear. No leaks are evident. I have a t joining 2 of the of the nips on the sides then attached to the switch and another tube between the switch and the remaining nips on the gear.

Is there anything else I need to do?

BTW... nips are written here instead of the full word beause of an "auto censor" at RCU.
