Default Props

Hi guys,

My LHS and domestic mail order houses that I know (Canada) have next to no APC pylon series props in stock. I need to buy a few different sizes to experiment on my Magnum and Whiplash.

Any recommendation as to a good North American mail order source? I find several vendors through Google, but they seem to only list one or two sizes.

Thx

Go directly to APC for what you want, their service is very good. WWW.landing products.com I think.

I've ordered straight from APC and have received great service.

Also try:

Direct through APC is more expensive (I've never figured that one out), I use www.darrolcady.com or www.pspec.com , but they primarily only stock the hard to find pylon props with D-1 hubs.

Thanks guys, I will check those out!

Re APC direct more expensive: I would hazard a guess that if APC is like many other manufacturers in other markets I know, they will offer their products direct but only at MSRP in order to avoid competition with their dealers, who "may sell for less". This provides a ready supply from the factory if someone can't locate a product or suitable vendor, while honoring the dealers investment in time and money to stock their product.

Yeh, go to the APC site, That is also where I order sizes that even "Tower" does not have. One little trick is that APC props are on the expensive side. That is why I alway throw on a cheap wooden one for a few flight to see if the plane has any bad habits that can break it before I install a good one
