This is far from a speed plane. more like a second plane.

the Lanier stinger looks like a a fat mid wing aerobat/sport plane or ideal second plane after a box trainer!!!..dont have a photo but page 51 of the latest Tower hobbies catalogue.. while jetenspeed models one looks like a fast racer

I also have a stinger 40.
I have a irvine quickie 500 engine on it. It is a 6,5cc (.40) only turns a little more RPM than a normal.
When putting a serieus engine on this plane, then it will be fast.
And it is for sure, not a second plane. An old puma from robbe, whit the same engine, can't hold up whit this baby.

when you need more pictures let me here, i will posted, what you like to see

Yep thats the next one for me. I have 3 engine choices, nelson Q40, K&B 6.5DF or if it will fit MVVS GRRT 40.
Speed models seem slow to respond to there email hope they still make the stinger.

jet and speed models doesn't produce them anymore, but still is a dealer of his products.
Now you think WHAT THE **** DOES HE MEAN.

The molds are sold to the company corvidae.
The reasons is due body problems. ( i am sorry my englisch is that bad)

The new producer you can find on

http://www.corvidae.net/speedmodels/...inastinger.htm

and the main page

good Luck Paul
