Here is our launcher. Comes apart for transportation on the floor behind the front seat and easy set up. Fuel, start and adjust the engine on the launcher with foot pedal release. One-man operation.

Gene;
Good idea and a very usefull launcher.
I turn my launcher box over and use it for stowage
in the van.
The one man operation is the best part.
Most flyers around here don't want to be near
something turning 18k.

Gene,
Looks cold out there! I see you are nicely bundled up but am wondering if you use one of those insulated bag-like things for your hands and transmitter? That's the problem I have in the cold weather, my hands go numb and I don't think I could fly with gloves on.

My hands don't get that cold. I fly without gloves except when it gets real cold then I wear gloves with a slit in the palm where I can stick my fingers out to the sticks. We fly all year so sometimes we have to bundle up real good.

For cold weather flying, this is what I use. It's a double toaster cover from K-mart. I sewed a piece of velcro so I could close it, poked a hole in the top for the antenna.Keeps my hands warm as toast (pun intended).
