My fastest plane a Q40 had a wing failure so I have to replace it but I have a few below I'm tinkering with.
Pic#1 My Honda Blackbird is the fastest in my stable for now 179 MPH on GPS
Pic#2 Sonic 500 SF45 abc Piped and a few mods it's ok
Pic#3 Scratch build in progress OS77VRDF for power engine benched at 25k with a 9.5x7 break in prop
Pic#4 Scratch build SX50 Hyper Piped still dialing it in, speed is decent.
No pics just starting to scratch build a P-51 racer 40 size OS65VRDF to power it
(If it's gonna happen it will happen up there)

I noticed a few rapiers in this thread so here's mine. It had two LA40's but Ive since pepped it up a bit
Its now got two SC52's and it goes and sounds incredible.

Hello speed freaks, My name is David , and have been flying 3-D but like going fast, So i put a GMS 76 on my big stick 40 an it is petty quick. went past a little toni with a 91 on my first day at the feild with it and it will make a hard turn (hope the wing stays on it) Got an LA 46 that needs somthing fast to push/ pull maybe a Q-500 anybody got a good sugggestion. Happy Landings What the heck get, down on the deck

its very interesting for me because i do have a weston 50 and its the same base then your webra 50.
my plan is to make the weston even faster and i want to know how far i can go with the max rpm. the weston turns a 8x8 around 21000rpm . i need 23000 on the ground

i like the idear with the neon color stripes on the litle tony, i think i willl do the same on my midget mustang.

Hi all well me and a friend are in the proses of making well it made should i say just waiting for the the pipe to turn up and then we under way so i ask dose anyone know what the actual speed record is at the moment for a IC engine plane as we beleave we stand in good shape as to getting a high speed im sorry at the mo we dont want to post any pics but i will after its been tested this is due to the fact that we do not want to get baned from flying it befor we even get to the field so i ask for your help as i can not find what the speed record is at the mo for IC engine planes i can find lots in jets etc but not for ic i would pefer MPH if pos please

[&:]Out of hobby for 15 years. Back in and need a speed fix. Use to fly F1 and Q500 and decided to build Sportsman Aviation f20 to become a Revver Brother. F20 with AX 46 and Mac tuned muffler.Short story shorter,windy day takeoff into sun and case of dumb thumb or {old} and pile of sticks. Still need fix so Viper 500.Os 46AX and Mac muffler and success. Flies great getting use to speed again. Looking for fuse for SA F20 wing OK.
