Run about 50% castor in your fuel?

Tow around another plane that is on fire?

Tow a streamer made up of lit charcoal briquets threaded onto a length of baling wire?

usually with a glow engine the smoke is not very dense or long lasting at all and the added weight and wing loading compromise greatly flying characteristics. smoke is best left for the gassers but you can use any pump setup and just tap the muffler as close to the engine exhaust port as possible and set the flow rate for best smoke performance. depending on the engine name brand there are different suggestions as to what is the best type setup.

The best smoke system IMO would be a high performance two stroke engine burning 22-25% castor oil. You will not have "real life" smoke density, but it will at least smell very nice.
I keep a burnt castor soaked rag under my pillow...[sm=bananahead.gif]

There could be a system made that is powered by a lipo battery and a coil of nichrome wire. The oil should pass through coils of copper or brass tubing that is installed in the muffler to preheat it, then get sent into the nichrome burner before being pumped out into the atmosphere. Do a google search on Rube Goldberg inventions, there might be some help there....

KC you're right about the weight not needed in a prop-jet. I saw someone here on RCU had the Cermark f-16 & smoke.

I'll leave the smoke for my Pitts i guess. I did some searching & here are the two finalist:

guys, if you have tried one these let me know,

thnx V.
