Rossi-45 with OS Muffler adapter
OK I am sure this technology has been around for a long time and it did not get ot my little dirt road until now but I got a 2nd hand Rossi-45 with a unusual muffler/pipe that is LOUDER than the mini-Pipe even...It also did not properly pressurize the muffler so it ran a bit rough.
Well I bought this adapter that allows me to run an OS-46 muffler (I have the FX not P-Box version) since I use Tower, Jett or UT mufflers on most stuff. It was like $12 bucks and I was not sure if I wanted to spend $60+ on a tuned muffler for this $45 engine.
Wow am I surprised! I am not one of the people who think Rossi's are hard to tune or that they do not have a good transition, but the muffler that came with it was garbage! I bolted on the OS-FX muffler and started her up- It was almost unusual to have such a quiet Rossi. [X(] It was too dark to tach well but the idle was ridiculously low, smooth transition and overall just ran great! I am soo glad I tried this adapter (it is aluminum and is very light)
With some modified muffler bolts I will be able to test the engine with the Tower muffler and Jett red muffler also (this weekend hopefully- )
I dunno I just wanted to share that since I was so tickled about that, i can't believe I just said "tickled"--- oh well
I have attached the pic for those that might have not seen this as well as a pic of my Novarossi-50 mounted on my Whiplash! I cannot wait to get my header and test that bad boy!
Cheers Revvers!

RE: Rossi-45 with OS Muffler adapter
I woulda traded an Enya-50SS with no compression but that is already on the way to proptop
I have had really good luck with my Rossi's on the mini-pipe and full pipes, this was a pleasant surprise!

RAZOR:
Are you sure that "Whiplash" will take any more motor? Looks like the one on it now blew the covering off on one side it was so fast? Please give that poor missused Rossie a Antifreez overnight bath in mom's croc pot. ENJOY

Whiplash is composite so that is paint that is missing (getting a makeover). Yes, the Rossi needs some TLC but until now I did not care- I have heard that Dawn Power Wash works great--
