Yes, I concur, I thought the Skooter also had differend endcaps on the wing, vertical cards or sheets that made a short tip fence all the way around, like 1/8 inch?? Ancient history, not sure I recall correctly. I DO recall the cat being somewhat faster than the Skooter, flew with several, but never flew one myself.
3d scat cat,?????? Hmmmmmm interesting project!!!!!!

We are guessing around 130 to 140 range, been waiting fot the wind to die down so that I can run laps with another scat cat equiped with a jett motor. The pipe does get every ones attention when I crack the throttle.

I'd imagine it's better than 140

We radar mine today at 125. Cut two inches off the pipe went from 16,200 to 18,300 rpm on 40% nitro. Changed the wheels to pizza cutters and added a higley spinner to it. Kept up with the dubb jett pretty good. Going to install retracts in my next one since it creates less drag.

Hi my scatcat is running an old webra 40Q with a nelson race pipe on 15%. I went with the nelson pipe simply because it was silver. That was an exceptionally good run as it averages in the high 140's.I agree about the engine position btw,I put the engine at 8 o'clock and that helped tremendously. I have a Nelson Q500 with the same pipe, that I'm looking to put on either a wildwiz that I recently purchased or a Matney Zoomer.
