The Airfoil is an SD8020.
Actually it won't be any faster than a DD for sure. The plane is longer to make it look a little sleeker. Also making it longer makes it easier to place the battery and servos so you reach your target CG without adding any additional weight.
It's also nice to take something to the field you know nobody else will be flying. There's nothing quite like the feeling you get from that first "HEADS UP!" Flight.

I'm planing one like your's, the only two things I got done on it so far is the name"Turbine Waiver", and the airfoil, I'm going to be using the S-7003. I thought about using a S8020 or NACA 0006, but I don't do a lot of inverted flight.
