Props,,,
Well I just got back from Germany and did some prop shopping while over there. WOW is this gonna bring this motor to life.
I found a Cam prop in a 9X6 and 10X8.
The static watts test just completed its looks like a go to me. I forget where I read about using this motor in a speed setup but I'm really liking where it weighs in at and power/batteries for the Outlaw, motor temps with a minute of static running are under 100F. So 2500-3500 sized batteries will be the weakest link in the powerplant loop, just where I like it to be as it is the sweet spot of weight per power battery penalty.
The ARC 36mm will have its work cut out to outperform this setup. Going up to 4000+ MAH battery needs is not actually a better option in my book on this airframe. IMHO
Motor AXI 2826/10
9X6 Graupner CAM
41.2 amps
20.8 VDC
848 watts
10X8 Graupner CAM
58 amps
19.8 VDC
1135 watts
Anyone care to input a known motor calc data for this motor on 6s and these range props? Thanx I dont use or own any motor calc softwares.....

RE: Outlaw Build E/Lite
Here are some pics of my 5S build. Neu1907/1.5y, 5S/3300mah, Hacker Pro 70, 9x9 APC. 14700rpm, and 67amps static. Guessing around 145/150 will have to radar this one.
C/G is right on spot with this setup. Wing has C160 servos I had lying around, and the tail has an 8411. 45 degrees on all control surfaces available.

Outlaw Update
Been really ringing out my Outlaw and the new Hyperion Z motors are awesome setup.
the evolution of my Outlaw has shown the need to insure no vibration at high rpms and summer heat temps allow the bell housing to flex. My cures to date is running the new 3020 Zs motors and a custom X mount of aluminum in which I can add an additional bearing in the mount, by stacking two together the added bearing is almost .750" away from motor back. As an added bonus it is heat sinking heat out of the motor and the mount is warmer than bell.
My current setup is:
Hyperion Zs 3020 8 1135KV
Exceed Momentum 100 amps ESC
Graupner G-force 9X8 prop
6s Lipo 30C 5000MAH
20.8VDC, 102amps, 2146watts 21700 rpms
N2rcplanes Outlaw (flying bud) was using a Scorpion and is now Hyperion setup as the Scorpion motor does not allow for a bell mount prop shaft and ends up knocking magnets loose. The Hyperion shaft comes pressed into bell and is oriented to backplate mount allow a simple bolt up to my X mounts and additional bearing.
Dans Setup: (IE he likes the noise)
Hyperion Zs 3025 6 1287Kv
HobbyKing ?? 100 ESC
Graupner Nitro prop 9X5
6S Lipo 5000MAH
20.7VDC 110 amps, 2331watts ??? Rpms
I've simplified an E conversion to a simple carbon hatch cowling mod, takes less than an hour.
I am selling the X mounts blanks or drilled for Hyperion with bearing installed
Carbon cowling with carbon tab
The pyle drivers and flat spins WOT are nutz. I put a velcro strap across the bay to insure the battery stays forward, removal requires it to go almost 2" rearward to get it out thus the velcro to itself acts as a wall spanned across ribs.

RE: Outlaw Build E/Lite
Well i got the carbon cowling for sale now, It is flow through design which allows better cooling for ESC and top of battery, the clearance of the tunnel now makes for ease of wires and plugs not having to stuff inside airframe. you can check it out at this link:

Also Just back from Tullohoma TN E-flying, they had an awesome radar gun so we had a great mix up with some RiteWings and Outlaws, from a split S staight level past gun My Outlaw is now doing 169MPH. pretty much box stock other than cockpit/cowl mod for Electric, No speed tricks employed to date.
Oh and my newest trick is after a WOT straight vertical rolling climb to a spec, point it down for a WOT vertical dive full 45deg aileron rolling, it is insane as the model looks as a funnel not able to distinguish top/bottom just a blurr.
I think I'll call it the Funnel. My flying buddy Dan says no way he's not going there.
I couldnt believe this gun could capture My HET-RC Yellow Mustang every time 136MPH. Since doppler runs were calculated at 137mph, I'm impressed. It was a big yellow gun with red lettering on side.
What a rush. They have high quality videos forthcoming will post link when available.
