Default Got a world models p-51 and a webra .91

So, Ive recently acquired a world models 60 sized p-51 that one of the guys at my field doinked the retracts out of. Ive just about got it all rebuilt and I was searching for a power supply. My pops got a big load of older RC stuff in an estate sale (and I mean a ****load) and I was digging through it and came accross a webra .91 attatche to a Byron Underdrive setup. My pops want to run this big ole thunder tiger 25cc glow motor, but I was thinking that webra .91 would pull that mustang along nicely, what do you guys think?

Sure, bolt that Webra in the mustang.......

Good engine. Weight is reasonable and will fly the mustang with authority.

You guys came across a byrodrive unit huh ? Thats a classic piece of giant scale history.

Yeah came accross alot of other stuff in his pile of planes too. all old stuff. One of the jems we got out of the deal is a scratch built laser200 from god knows how long ago with those big ole world models servos, but the real catch is the saito 270 twin mounted on the front. we got like 6 models 3 boxes of motors old radios tons of fittings and screws and just everything you can imagine for a grand.

ok new info. The glow motor is a super tigre g2300 not what I originally thought. Would this be a better optionto get some speed out of this plane?

I'd stay with the 91. That 2300 is a heavy motor for that size plane.

Yeah, its a mighty-tight fit. Cyclic made it work fairly well though.

The webra 90 is not all that much smaller though (im assuming it is the older big-block 90 engine).

Going on 4 years I think with this thing. Been recovered all red and rebuilt (voluntarily). The original intent was to buya cheap setup to bang around with. So Ifound thatthing on ebay for not much over a hundred and thrw this 2300 in it along with retracts. Turned out to be one heck of a nice flyer. So after the first season, I gave it a makeover. These 60 sized Mustangs should have at lease a 90 . in it.

I took it out a couple weeks ago to get back into the program here and had stopper come undone inthe tank. made a mess so it's ready again. Later all

How do you like it. Im really wanting something that is gonna pull this baby around the sky with some AUTHORITY. Im just asking about these 2 motors because they are super convenient for me. If they wont really gat this plane rolling ill go some other route.
