Hi Duane:

Do a search on this forum under LR1. All the details are already there. Pay special attention to the CG. There was an error on the factory supplied information.

ok here are the throws for the speed cat which is the same exact plane:

ailerons 12mm up and 8 down
elevator 10mm up and 10 down
cg per speed cat is 50-60mm aft of leading edge at the wing root

Thanks guys, I tried the search, but some threads were just way too long to search through. I needed to know last night, I took it to work with me to fly after, and was trying to set it up last night. I guess I didn't measure any throws, just eyed them. Ailerons were pretty close, turned great, elevator was a little much. On one turn I used a lot of elevator, and it tried to snap on that turn. Flys pretty nice with the .25, lands easier than my Vipers...slows down quicker. I got worried on the last flight, motor quit, prop was just spinning, spit the glow plug out. I guess when I buy swap meet engines I should make sure things are tight! I don't like the color scheme, white/blue. This would not have been my choice colors, but I swapped planes with someone else, who bought it from another member, new plane, 3rd owner? Next, my Q40 plane!

Nice Q40 plane,

Where did you get that. What motor are you going to put in it?

I got the Q40 at Aiport Pawn, traded the Mach Racer delta for it. No real engine choice yet, recovering the wing, painting the fuse (the plane was well used and a little rough/cracks) Maybe I'll use the Webra .40 or my ST .45 or open to suggestions/donations!
