Default Which .46 2stroke engine makes most power,,

Guys we are going to start some club pylon type racing,, we are going to be using some extra 300 style airframes,, we are only allowed to use factory engines, like OS .46 tt .46 ,, supertigre, etc, etc,, , with stock mufflers,,, and we can't use any nelsons, or Jetts,, , what is the best stock .46 that makes the most power,,, we are allowed to only use 10x7 Apc prop

I would go with the OS 46 AX if you are restricted to a APC 10 x 7 prop. Many think that is a great match. Too much prop for a TT 46 Pro IMO.

Ditto....

OS 46 AX loves that prop.

A Sport-Jett .46 is a sport engine from a factory.. c'mon! How big does the factory have to be?

Maybe strip the anodizing from the head of a Sport-Jett .46 and tell them it's a.. um, it's a.. man, I dunno. What "factory" engine has a head like that anyway? An old ST?

Nobody will notice the rpm difference.

I would think it would be the Jett muffler that would be the biggest problem. It would be interesting to see how the Jett .46 would do with a Stock Super Tigre muffler on it. They have the same bolt pattern. I know the Jett muffler makes a pretty good boost on the Super Tigre.

The GMS and Tower .46 is no slouch either.

tower 46 heads are purple.

Jett .46 is a great choice...but I think they want to keep cost down.

I forgot, the GMS is a .47. Still, they are pretty strong running engines. Worth looking at. The Tower .46 is a strong runner also. Way less money than the OS.
