Default Sundowner covering

[size=2]While flying my Sundowner this afternoon ,most of the top covering on the right wing came off. It was possible, with difficulty, to land without incident. On inspection ,it was noted that the top covering only went as far as the centre of the leading edge and had not been continued onto the bottom surface. You might want to check this to prevent any possible accidents . Just wondering if any one else has had this problem?

Did you go over all the seams with an iron when you built it?
