Flying my trainer today, getting ready for tomorrow's race, I decided to record some sound to see how fast (or not fast in it's case) it's actually going. I figure 60-75 mph tops.
Anyways, tried loading the file into the Scope program, gives me a "divide by zero" error. Any idea what is wrong? There is also an error message when first starting the program that appears before the GUI does, it says "Access violation at address 004813FE in module 'WAVEoScope.exe. Read of address 00000000."
Since I've been getting nowhere trying to get someone to hold my radar gun at the field to see how fast some of my other stuff is going, figured I'd learn on this plane.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!

The main problem I had with Wavoscope was with submitting too large of a file from the audio extractor or else WOS locks up.
The WOS graph lines I'm getting with the camcorder on the roof of my car are usually pretty sharp with no fuzz. Getting the plane to pass directly above is a big help.
There seem to be a lot of quirks to get this stuff from the recorder all the way through to the end product.
I'd still like to get a radar gun someday.

.wav files can be set for various sample rates, 44.1, 48.xx 96.xx and 192.xx et al, i haven't delved into all the settings in wave o scope but its easier than trying to futz with microsoft apps
