Evan's stuff is always pretty sick. He is after all the creator of the Twin Dust.

The stickers arrived in the mail today and I gotta tell you they are 100% cool. Cali did a great job as always!

This year's event is shaping up pretty good. Two of the LHS's have commited to goodies with a positive vibe coming from someone close to all speed freaks the world around. No names till I'm sure.
If you need lodging info pm me and I'll see if I can point you out of town guys in the right direction.

Now, please understand that i have been so busy with my primary business that i have not even had the chance to work on my new business website [link]http://www.fullthrottlejets.com[/link] but i am working on some projects that will take some time and that i hope will fit right in with this group of speed enthusiasts. Until then, i have ordered a brand spankin new Jett Engineering SJ50 R/C with Jett-Stream muffler that some attendee could take home from the Carolina Speed Rally. I'll leave the method of distribution to Vicman ie raffle, fastest plane, most hot dogs consumed etc. You want to win the Jett, get your butt to the rally. I'm working on my go-fast creations and hot dog tolerance just in case.

Dude, I thought I mis-read the email you sent today about the engine! That's nuts!!!

I think it would be best to do a 50/50 raffle with a reserve just in case. This is super generous of you.

How you distribute it is up to you and the event coordinators Vic. I just hoped it would motivate a few die hard speed demons into coming and teach me a thing or two. And yes, it was a shameless plug for my new website. I figured everyone would tolerate that for a chance at a new Jett. Expected delivery date is 6/2 thanks to Dub Jett @Jett Engineering which is plenty of time to have it in hand for the event. Thanks Dub! I'll post pics when it arrives to motivate potential attendees into coming.

Well boys,
The brand spankin new SJ50 showed up today and is ready to find a new home. Thanks to XViper's contribution, I hope his project with Full Throttle Jets works out, this is a pretty cool deal.

We will be holding a raffle at the rally and some lucky dog is going to get a great deal on an awsome engine.[sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]

Vic, I have an idea how to win the engine. Have everyone fly and register their official times. Afterwards have a hopper full of random numbers from 100 to 210. The closest speed to the number drawn wins. In case of a tie, have a special "fly off" round to see who can get closest to the same exact number that was drawn. To add drama, you could have more numbers drawn to create more possible winners, then have subsequent speed passes recorded by just the "finalists" before you have the final drawing.

I made two flights on the Magnum today with the GPS tracker jay1st posted about [link]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9752906/anchors_9782383/mpage_1/key_/anchor/tm.htm#9782383[/link]. If this thing is really that accurate i intend to take home a buck-fifty sticker at least. I'm ashamed to admit but i ran out of fuel and didn't have time to go to the lhs this week so i used some 15% that was at least two years old and still got in the 135 range. That was also with a conservative prop since i was practicing launches on the dolly. I'll be bringing fresh fuel and less conservative props up there and plan on riding away with a 150 sticker on the window.
