Default Prop Question.

This might not be the best place to ask this question but I didnt know where else to ask.

I need a pusher prop. Either a 2, 3, or 4 blade. Just depends on the pitch but the diameter cant be any larger than 12 in. It will be going on an OS .91 FX engine. I know Master AirScrew makes a few, Graupner has a couple, APC has several too. None of these companies make one in a low diameter (12 in) with a high pitch. I have a ground clearance issue so I am limited in diameter.

Anyone know of a prop company that has a large selection of pusher props?

Thanks,
Charles

Pushers with high pitch? Very fringe item, the manufacturers have to recover the mold cost and make money and that's tough to do by selling 17 props a year - that's the reality.

Best I can suggest is trimming a Master Airscrew 13-8 3-blade to 12".

the graupner may be your best bet, they are the one of the best actually for lower rpm engines like the 91 fx you are using

get the zinger 12x8 wood one and let the engine turn. it wont hurt it at all. The master junks have less than the pitch stated on them compared to other props, but durable. if its turning to high rpm then get the 14x8 and trim it down to 12" and then clean it up and balance. it will have wider blades than the regular 12x8

You could build a pitch gauge (for pusher) and heat a plastic prop with a heat gun and twist to the pitch you need...within reason.

Graupner or Zinger pushers are a good best. Stick with 12" or even 11"

Let the engine turn, it will be just fine. Loves running around 12,000-13,000 rpm without issue.
