If you guys and gals remember I said I was going to create a tribute to Art for all the videos the we at RCU will be doing at Toldeo this year. Here it is. It's 10 seconds and very simple, nothing fancy and it's all taken from his website. It's setup to be the lead in for the videos

"To All of Art's RCU "Brothers"
I don't know how to begin to express my deep appreciation to all of you for all the thoughtful sentiments, beautiful comments and wonderful memories of Art. I have printed them out and will be putting them in his memory album.
Art did see the RCU plane that David Agar brought in to the hospital for him and I also thank you for the generous monetary gift. It has helped more than you know!
The tribute to Art on the video is overwhelming to me! What an honor to him!!
Is there some way I can get a copy?
I will never forget the pride and joy it brought Art to know all of you.
He loved the hobby so much!

Peggy,
I will see to it you get a copy on a CD-ROM
If you want the electronic copy just right click on the link to the Tribute and chose save or save as and save it to the computer.
I never met Art in person but had conversation through RCU with him and he also left a lasting impression on him. Creating the Tribute was the least I could do

Peggy,
You will always be in my prayers. I consider myself a better person for knowing Art and will surely miss him.

Peggy, My thoughts and prayers are with you. Life will go on for all, however those of us who had the oppurtunity to know Art, know that a piece of life is missing and cannot be replaced. Art was a special man and I am honored to have known him. Dave Agar

A bit late but better then not at all.
I like some of you others have been out of the hobby for just over two years now and came back here to see what was going on with RCU only to find this sadden news.
I've often wondered what some of you looked like thanks for the picture. Art will surely be missed as he was a big help to me and others.

Going through some old threads, saw the thumbnail Art used in his posts.. While I didnt know him first hand WOW have I seen that funny thumbnail he used on so many threads I read.. Time goes by so fast.

It can't be that its more than eighteen years ago. I felt like yesterday we were all bantering about build threads and Art's funny reactions to CA glue and using the bathroom. Many more from that time are now gone to join Art at the great flying field.

Back in that day I was a Moderator with Art here on RCU. He was a great guy, very level headed and proficient. I traveled up North one time to see a dear friend of mine in Washington, and was supposed to meet Art on the way up. That day he had an appointment at the VA and could not meet up with me. I was deeply saddened that I could not meet up with him, because I had such deep respect for him.
