You mean the TEU-101 ESC?!

I mean, I really like that ESC, and I agree that it is really under-rated.. (just take a look at its current limit..) But it is definitely still not a 13T ESC..

I would not run dual motors on that ESC... you are just asking for trouble!!

I run the Futaba, but I though the Tamiya might be a bit better, but then again, maybe not.

I'm running it at dual motor (Parallel) it is really weird because the temperature is just the same as I was running on single motor. []

Anyway it is just temporary...I spend my time with my TXT mostly on building than running!

Hi LB, would you know if how many "wt" does the stock TXT-1 soft oil damper has?

400 is 40 weight. For some reason all the Japanese companies use the 100 numbering system.

LOL, my guess was pretty close!

Since my TXT was heavier, I run heavier oil on the rear and put the preload collars on...

Front is always light due to the power wheelie, so I run the stock oil.. ha!

Besides, its lasted since 2004!

Well, I dont think Ill be running on it anytime soon. I might order a bunch of stuff from Digi Key, some heatsinks, fans, capacitors, etc. Radioshacks fans are a bit pricey IMO.

Go buy a R/C already!

Nice!

On my txt, even if I place the battery holder up front, It can still do the wheelie! TXT has a montrous torque! Btw Mine is 45 weight. I bought a separate brand (GS Racing) for the damper oil.

Met up with TEX for a run w/ our monster trucks.. geez, my run lasted exactly 2 seconds.. [:@]

The TXT hit a stationary rock (you know, the kind that sticks out a little bit out the ground, but you know it weights 2 tons if you dig it out??)

The skid took a beating.. and snapped one of the lower link ball connectors...

I guess that's what you get when you got a truck this heavy and can accelerate this quickly.. LOL!!

Anyway, while trying to drill out the broken bit tonight, I broke a drill bit and stabbed my finger.. Ouch.. We talk about sweat and blood.. I guess this is really sweat and blood.. doh!!

I hammered this out a little bit.. hey, more battle scars = more characters..

You succeeded to post pics of the messed up skid, but where are the damage pics of the warrior's (you, in this case =P) finger?

Looking at the beefy skid, it's hard to imagine how the hell this could happen on a rock =O!

Put some JunFac ballend on, and some steel screws through.. if it breaks again, at least I can get it out from the other side...

I don't want to gross people out.. but let's just say that there was blood on the TXT (literarily!) and it wasn't pretty... I hope there's no other damage.. doh!!

Yeah.. it was a good hit alright.. but now the TXT is stronger than ever, hee hee..
