Servos for the ailerons? The HS-81 looks a little puny. I have the kit but I have not sorted it all out yet. I have a plane on the workbench I have to finish first. NP says that "Standard" servos are all that is needed. I would like some input on the servos that are being used. I don't want to dump a bunch of money into digital servos, I am not that precise in my flying needs. Just need good sport flying performance.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Wayne

Your going to need small servos for the wings. the HS 81 MG'S are what i used the strong and fast. but i'm sure there are many others out there you can use. but standard servos are not going to work in the wing you can use them everywhere else. I crashed mine and will be rebuilding it here after i'm done with my P-51. Probably a winter project. to much flyin other stuff and such the biplane fly s great and is awesome little plane make sure you dont have any binding in the control linkages for the Ailerons. i did and they jamed and it brough my little orange biplane to the ground in a hurry.[&o] i love this little plane to it was so cool but i can fix it. Make sure all you hardware is mounted in the plane good too. Its a little difficult i had my RX just slopping around in the plane and thing that didn't help i had glitching issues before take off. its still al little bit of a mystery what brought mine down were not sure if it was RX not being mounted and servo wires coming loose but after my NTSB investigation it seems more evident that one of the top ailerons Binded and jammed.
But its a fun little plane i only got one flight the maiden and crash into Terra fir ma.[&o]
