Default Avios Albatross HU-16 Flying Boat 1620mm (63.7") PNF

Never owned a flying boat. Just a handful of parts in the box so very quick to assemble. Electronics all installed, servos already hooked up to control surfaces and decals applied. Just drop in RX, setup your radio and ready to go.

Parts review and Assembly

First flight off grass

First flight off water

Default Albatross

use the flaps for takeoff and landings., CG is critical, don't expect it to FLOAT on landings., limit your control throws and use 30 to 40% expo.
Then it will fly nicely

Good news! I did receive myAlbatross went together nicely, used th 3000ma pack and set the throws as recommended (This is important) first flights were off wet grass early in the morning. Flew well, I did cut down the throws to the low rates, did some stalls withe the cg at the 80mm location.
to sum it us GREAT AIRPLANE!!
other guys I talked to at Joe Nall complained but I don't think it was set up properly.

I need to determine which connectors in the wiring harness deal with the servo reverse and the differential thrust features. There's nothing in the assembly manual and no identification on the connectors. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Turns out that the factory put a Y harness on the 2 throttle leads and left the reversing leads with no identification tags at all. The lack of any significant instructions compounded the confusion.

I got it all working properly but have to give Avios a zero score for the lack of direction.

Test flight will occur this Summer at the clubs float fly.
