flying wing cg location
good day.
i am trying to create a flying foamie wing from scratch and am having difficulty finding c.g.
i am assuming that this will differ from cg on a plane with a tail group, but i dont know where to start.
they are built from fan fold and i keep wrecking the prototypes ( due to incorect c.g.)
i built one before by tracing my elipstik and it flew great and i based the cg in relation to the location of that for the new prototypes but to no avail..
i need c.g. calculations for flying wings!!!!

RE: flying wing cg location
If a plane has the CG at about 25%-30% a wing would be at 15%-20% or way forward of where it would be on a plane. Also wings need reflex in the ailerons which means they are both about 2 or 3 degrees up. Good luck on your next try and let me know if this helps.
