...luckily I got to put two packs on the Slow Stick and one on the Cessna at around 5.30am this morning in completely still conditions. It was a bit chilly though right on day break but the sun was shining and I was loving every minute of it!! I've been looking through my pile of leftover RC parts and found a servo that will be suitable for the "Jaskel Approved Cessna Flap Mod" I'll be off to Kellett's this morning for some sheilded pushrods and control horns!! I'm facinated by the concept of harrier landing the Cessna!!

haha make sure you get a small servo, otherwise it will interfere with the screws on the wing.
Man im loving this G3 now, got the 2 expansion packs and just updated to vers 3.5 and it has night flying with neons..haha wicked fun.
Im hoping the wind will stay low today cause after i have a Mel Cup lunch at work im coming home....i need to fly!
Nice work on tyhe morning flights man..i wish i could get up early....

Now I understand all the complaints about the wind. I was in Manly for a family holiday on the weekend. It musta been 25 knots. Living in the sunshine state there is almost always a bit of seabreeze but its mostly in the 10-12 knot rangeand really only kicks in during the afternoon.
In cases like that I always pull out the heli for some hovering. Beats the sims hands down I reckon.

So, any of you Sydney guys keen for a fly on Friday over at the Wallgrove Rd venue?? I'll probably be out there again from 8.30-9.00am so bring your planes out and see what happens. Last week Jaskel flew and landed his glider and Cessna Ok and I took out my glider without incident as well. Landings are a challenge but not too bad...

nah not this week....may go for a local but i need to practise my landings so I need a bit more of a landing strip...ill either hit ermington during lunch or just come home early and have a flight...
I finally bought a chopper from antonio...got the twister bell 47...really mega cheap...its a hoot to fly...

I can't believe I broke my Pico Stick again [

I was having a great time playing in the wind, feathering the throttle into the wind with the plane just standing still, pulling up and balancing it in a hover for about 15 seconds before the wind started to turn it to the left. Just pushed full throttle and watched it climb, pulled it inverted and then looped to level
.
Did a couple of more loops and was just cruising around when....crack....the wings fold, I pull full up elevator and set 0% throttle and wait for the crash [>:].
So now the main shaft is in three pieces again, though this time the front wing attachment broke as well, which is what brought it down []. I'm not sure if I'll retire this one and get a Pico Tiger Moth or resurect it. Decisions...decisions.....

where?? I dont see it anywhere...
went for a fly yesterday at the rc clubs field...not a breath of wind untill i got the planes out of the car!!!!!!!!!!!
Only got 1 flight out of the cessna.
I hope today brings more luck....but my hangover is worrying me..lol
