Default The Ultimate Indoor 3D

Once again AirWave Design has done it. Peter's new design, the SukaLyn has proven to be a Super indoor stunt plane! This plane flys at a walking pace indoors yet can Hover, Flatspin, Rolling Circle with the best of the TOC big planes. Power is an IPSD-RLC-DS with a 12X6 prop on 2X1020 Kokams. The plane is gentle and tracks like it's on rails at low rate and is a stunting fool on high rates!!

Plans, and kits will be availabe soon. Pictures and movies are on their way

More post to come, right now I can't get enough flying time on the super plane!!

This looks like a great flying machine. You are also a VERY good pilot. You make the rolling circle look easy. Are you using elevons with rudder also? (3 servos).

The Flying is Peter Wallin, the designer, and yes it uses 3 servos. To get on the order list email me : [email protected] .

The first batch of kits will be on their way to the US Monday.

Do you have a price for them? Can you tell me what is included in the kit?

Thanks!

Is there a complete package available with motor, prop servos and receiver? If not, is there a list of the items needed?

Thanks

I am working with TNT Landinggear for a total package.

Power is a GWS IPSD-RLC-DS with a 12X6 prop on 2X1020 Kokams.

Servos are GWS Pico BB ( 3 )

Receiver is GWS micro

All else is in the kit.

Looks great!

What would be a good ESC for the GWS IPSD-RLC-DS?

I've flown one and its most comfortable position is in a harrier or a hover. Effortless!

AeroMicro no longer sells the GWS IPSD-RLC-DS motor. Does anyone know where they are still available, or what would be a good replacement?

I'll ask again. Can someone please suggest a motor/prop/battery combination that is comparable to the GWS IPSD-RLC-DS/12x6/2X1020 Kokams? I have found a source for most of the other parts but don't want to order until I'm sure I can get a motor.

It's 4:30 AM so I'm running low without sleep... had a wonderful time tonight in Columbus Ohio flying with Kitman and all the Columbus E-flyers!!! Thank you guys for the wonderful hospitality.

d_wheel,
we used a new combo tonight that gave me excellent results in the Sukalyn. GWS IPSD-RXC-AS (5.9:1, 7.2 V) with a 11X4.7 prop on 3-Kokams.... we used 560 and 880 packs... Super vertical and great hovering... Will fill you in more after I get some sleep.

Thanks,

Bruce
