B-2 Bomber questions
I built a 72" B-2 bomber out of "green" foam, it has twin 480's, and takes off R.O.G. after about a 30-40' roll out. Real nice floater, but real scary when it tip stalls. I was able to get about 10 flights out of it, making a couple of laps with alot of touch and go, before I stalled it and wacked in. I had not intended to fly it, just to see if it would R.O.G., which it did nicely, and get's airborne pretty quick. Does anyone have suggestions such as washout and how much, or attaching some fins near the wingtips to help reduce the tip stalls? I'm sure practice will help alot with this,(it's only about 10.00 worth of foam, and 4-5hrs work) I was also wondering about a covering, such as the thin fiberglass, how crash resistant is this material? I know a hard wack from 50-100' wrecks everything, but say from 10-20', will the fiberglass hold up? I can always just fibertape it all, and cover it with colored tape. As far as batteries, the best combo was 8-1300 nicad, with the twin 480's, and a 30amp speed control, can this be improved? I'll put some pics in my gallery when the next one is done.
Thanks
