I am having trouble with:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.a...3A28%3A14%20PM
Giving me the, "500 Internal server error" message every time I try to access it. I click on the down arrow button labeled, "go to first unread post", that's when the error message comes up after a short pause while the browser reports that it is, "Waiting for www.rcuniverse.com..."
I can't get into the RC Surfer thread at all.
And I am starting to have the 500 Internal server error problem with the "the unofficial home of the dumas dauntless" too. Sometimes if I click on refresh a few times it will come up. Doesn't make any difference if I use Firefox or Internet Explorer, either from home or at work. Still getting that error message.
Seems to me to be related to the size of the thread. No problems with the smaller ones just ones that go over about 75 pages or so.
I just looked here and I am on the RCU4 server.

I have been having this problem for several years and have reported it to Marc directly. Nothing has been done about it and I still have the problem. I recently found that I could get to the last post of a thread that was 76 pages then I started getting the error. It is something you will just have to deal with as I have done because a quick fix will not be coming.

I am not a guru, but I think it has something to do with how many people are one the thread at one time
At one time it didnot make a difference what thread you were on or how many posts it had
it was the good old 500 or time out for a commercial
This is an old story that goes back when RCU was USER friendly LOL
