There has been like 6 different spammers with random names like They all do it the same way, they copy the text from a previous legit post of the thread, which I guess can pass under the radar but I am very familiar with that thread so I noticed these posts had been said by previous user (the OP actually). This thread was specifically affected:

I use the report button every time, it does not have much effect so I am guessing you guys are dealing with lots of these? The posts were deleted at one time when I posted in the thread asking for a mod to delete them, but they were not all banned as they came back with other spam posts. It seems to come from the same person or machine because the same stolen text is being said over and over. Is there something else than reporting the post in order to help get rid of them? (banned)

Same thing this morning in the very same thread. Another user posted the same text again. Reporting does not have any effect, is it because there are too much of them?

Ok we need a Moderator to clean the mess in Preston's thread, cancer is growing in there. There are now 6 spam posts in the same page, many different users posting the exact same text, which itself is a copy from an OP's post.

Is it because the problem is site-wide currently and you cannot keep up with the reports? I reported every single spam post of this thread but they are still there.
