Default Rc universe full of viruses?

Every time I browse this site from any of my three iphones, ipad, and 3 different pc computers running windows 7 I get attacked with different viruses. So far my security software helps to stop it, but sometimes its in a form of popup or redirect and I have to shut down manually to prevent attacks. No other site does this, what is going on here? It's so bad it's nearly unusable. Check my creds, I am legit and a hard core builder/flyer. Just google my user name I have a whole google page to myself.

I'm running iMac, Macbook, iPad and iPhone, a PC desktop and several laptops.

When ever I get an email advice of a post from this forum, the links are greyed out and I have to forward it to myself for the reply links to turn blue and open.

I'm on many forums - including one I own myself and another where I'm an Administrator; and I don't experience these issues anywhere else.

It's not The End of The World - but it's a bit annoying, nonetheless.

Cheers
Max

It looks like all the adds this website is riddled with are also full of viruses, ADMIN, come on lets get this fixed! This website is a hazard and almost impossible to navigate with the constant add and virus attacks! Too bad as there is a lot of good info in here.

Haven't had any or the aforementioned problems with RCU. Sure there isn't anything else going on with your platform like a root kit or viral infection?

I use 4 different pcs with state of the art virus protection, plus multiple different iphone and pad devices. I am the real deal and this site has issues. It looks like it's the third party adds on the site that's the issue. But, when I am logged in, the attacks seem to stop. Also less video driven adds when logged in. I guess the site tries to punish you for not being logged in...

They're just phishing ads, guys. Nothing on the site at all.

Also, when you post technical issues here in Clubhouse, I only see them occasionally by chance. The proper place to post tech issues is Forum questions or problems - RCU Forums

I guess I'm confused, so if I'm logged in there are no phishing adds, but if I'm browsing not logged in I get viciously attacked by phishing adds and viruses. Weird, no other site has this issue. Maybe it's time to look at who's putting these ads up and ban them?

Got no idea of what you mean by phishing ads and viruses. Yes, there are ads, but not of the nature I think you are referring to. Without a description I don't have a clue onto what you are referring to. I'm using Firefox for web browser with Ubuntu Linux as the OS and an Android phone. I don't click on any ads I don't recognize or feel like clicking on.

Have you gotten someone more knowledgeable about computers to take a look at what going with your system?

He's probably referring to some bad popups we get occasionally on mobile. We're working to resolve this.

Got attacked again and I took a picture of the Norton warning. I wasn't logged in to the website and something on this website just starts running virus scrips and tries to infect my computer. After I log in everything is good though. It also locks up Explorer. I'm using Windows 7 with everything updated to current all the time.

Major attack after being logged in. I cant come to this website anymore until you guys fix the virus attacks! I am taking a chance even posting this. I almost got a major hijack just now on your site. I dont have these problems anywhere else but here. Come on fix this already.

It's a software redirect ad. Bothersome, but no biggie.
