old account/password recovery?
iv got an old account created with an email address i haven't had in well over a decade (i think i lost access to both in about 2010) the account still pops up in some of the off topic threads in the RC Car's part of the forum. is there any way to retrieve the password? or swap the account to another email? i have no desire to use the old account. i would simply like to delete the signature, location and avatar sense none of it is accurate/representative.

Ok, I found the account in question. There are a few options that needs to be taken into account. I can't let you have both accounts as that is against our community rules. In your initial post here you mentioned blanking out the email address and other info for the account. I can do that for you. Or I an merge the two accounts together under the username that you have here.
Let me know what you want me to do with it.

if you merge the accounts will my old account posts and everything just be added to my current account? basically just putting my active account name/profile on my old accounts posts?

But to answer your question, yes. All of your old posts will be merged into your new account. Basically everything that is currently showing under your old username will now show up under your current username.
Let me know what you want me to do for you.
