Default how long do threads last?

if i mark a certain thread as a favorite in my internet explorer how long will the thread be there? do the threads get deleted after a certain amount of time? i only ask becuase i don't want to go to look for something i need information about in my favorites menu and find out that it isn't there. so do the threads stay forever or do they get deleted after while?

I hate to disagree with you guys, since I'm just a user, but I think I will in this case.

Would it not be more correct to say that the links will be there until the next major system upgrade/change? Consider that all the links to the old RCU are now no longer valid.

Regards,
...jim

The threads will always be there but the link to them could potentially change as you stated. We don't foresee this happening and we did parse through many of the threads here to convert them to their proper link within the forums. This was one of those nasty things where there were no easy solutions during this transition.
