Windows crashing when I PM
What is going on…………Everytime I send a PM on here my computer brings up a Error report with either SEND to microsoft option or Don’t send option. Why is this happening?
I am using Win XP Pro, Norton AntiViru,
Any ideas would be really helpful. When I then click DON’T SEND it closes all of my windows that I have open related to RC Universe.
Really pi**es me off!
Thanks
Keith

RE: Windows crashing when I PM
ok I made a small code change. let me know if it works ok now. also if it does not please try this second.
close down any outlook 2003 program or any email readers you have open then try to post. see if the problem disappears. if not try to reboot the whole computer and only launch IE. try to post and see if it works.
Post the results here. Microsoft is looking into this and these few tests may help to narrow it down.

RE: Windows crashing when I PM
I've gotten this a few times also. Once it starts happening, only a reboot seems to help.
Yes... I always have Outlook 2000 open when I notice it... but that may not be a good test, as
I always have Outlook open on this machine Closing all browsers and Outlook does not cure
the problem. Upon opening a new browser, even after clearing the cache... a PM will crash MSIE.
A reboot clears the problem, but then I can open up Outlook and still send PM's fine afterwards,
as well. Very odd, this. Hopefully MS will come up with something... if they can duplicate.
For the record:
Windows 2000 Pro Service Pack 4
MSIE 6.0.2800.1106
Outlook 2000 SR-1 (9.0.0.3821)
Edit... fixed my other problem. It was user error
