ICONS???
Can someone tell me what the traffic light icon and the + sign icon next to peoples names in the forums mean?
When I click the traffic light it turns from red to green but nothing else apparent happens...... the plus sign reloads the page but who knows what else.
Perhaps add an ALT="Traffic light means this" in the IMG tag.... as in
<IMG SRC="traffic.gif" ALT="Stop traffic">
OR at least a key at the top or bottom of the page explaining it.....

RE: ICONS???
The traffic light icon is to block the submitter of the current post. If you click the icon, you will no longer see any post submitted by that particular member. The plus icon adds that member to your contact list. If you place your cursor over an icon, you should see micro-help that gives a description.

RE: ICONS???
I can understant the '+' sign, and have a few 'freinds' already.
But I don't get the traffic light idea. Why would I want to block a poster's post?! OPne or two sitations I can see it being useful, but they do not lend themselves to RCU...

RE: ICONS???
Thanks.... when I was using it at work the "micro help" did not show up and thus I suggested it in my first post.
Once I add someone to my contact list how do i see the people on my list?

Click "Inbox" button at the upper right of the screen. This will take you to the private message (PM) page. At the right is "My Address Book" with a plus sign just like the one you asked about. Click that and you will see your buddy list.
