Default Poker problems

I get to the last window, before you enter to start playing poker, and I get the "This page cannot be displayed" window. I can go anywhere on RCU except in there. I have been in the room twice before, but have tried the last two days and cannot get in. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Likely your link is bad. Go to the community menu. Then, click "RCU Poker" from either the menu that pops up or from the Community home page.

Then, click on the poker table. If the game doesn't pop up, check your pop up blocker.

Never mind, found the answer in another thread. Like most of the others, I'm just having fun with this but almost 300 bonus plays for the person at the top doesn't seem quite fair to everyone else.

Why is a 2 not considered a strait when it comes right after the Ace? Forgive me, I have never played real poker in my life.

Ace is not considered a "1". It is in the sequence of 10, J, Q, K, A

Ace can be a one if it's A 2 3 4 5. That's a low straight. 10 J Q K A is the high straight. Ace can be a one or an eleven, but not both, so you can't have a J Q K "Eleven" 2 straight. Eleven and 2 are not consecutive numbers.

Hi, had to leave home for a couple of days and did not have access to a computer. I thought that your hands would keep building so that you could kind of stay in the race, but apparently this is not the case[]

Sounds like there is not a snowballs chance to even coming close to winning anything, they just as well take it off the site and add some more pop ups [:@]

I still play every day to help contibute my 40-odd additional ad views to the tally. As far as winning anything?? I don't use the Marketplace, so I'm pretty much assured of not finishing high enough to get that glow plug I've had my eye on

chuck - it isn't only those who win the most points that can win. it is also those with the best hands for the amount of plays. those who understand statistics know that fewer plays can cause the odds to become less "smooth" and thus potentially increase your chances of a higher power index. Over huge amounts of plays the power index would become homogenous.

Also anybody can win from redemptions during the game if they have enough RCU bucks.

I know michael was looking at banking a couple days if you missed them but you would have to catch up on them or lose them. not sure where he is with that code though.

Well, like I said..I ain't got not dime one invested, so if I don't win a cent I'm cool with that.

But.... Poker is a game of odds.

The same odds for every player at the table.

Your game skews the odds in favor of certain players.

Skill plays a large role in poker,as does luck.

Skill is significantly reduced as a factor in video poker.

With the combined effect of reduced odds (which does not occur in poker), and negating any skills necessary to win at poker (a side effect of video poker), it will make it hard for a non-marketplace active player to enjoy this game.

I know if I sat a table where the the winner was detemined by who had the most money at the end of the game (duh), and was informed I would not be dealt cards every 5th (10th, 15th, does not matter) hand, I would laugh in the dealers face and walk off. That is BS. I know it, you know it. You play it.

This poker system must be fairly easy to hack into. Just noticed the #2 player has exactly 10,000 RCU bucks with a power index of 16.81. Yeah, that's real believable.

I don't understand this, the first 25 hands played fine, then when I got down to about ten hands left I would click on the cards to hold and then go to draw more cards it starts over with a new hand. Lost several good hands.

it might be a function of the new protections we had to create to keep guys like that cheater from winning. I'll look into it and if there is a bug I will credit your account with extra plays to make up for the trouble you got....stay tuned.
