I am getting emails saying I've subscribed to a message, but I have not and they are not on my list. All seem to be the first posting of a thread

click the settings button

then click subscriptions.

you must uncheck forums that are checked off "get email". this is a legacy issue for some users who subscribed a long time ago to a forum (not myforums).

I'm getting the same thing he is, but it's not the legacy issue you described. I need an answer to this quickly. I'm getting hundreds upon hundreds of unwanted e-mails from forums and things on here I have never visited.

What did you guys do? The emails are pouring in. I never subscribed to any of this stuff. Please fix it soon.

Wow, more are coming in. If this isn't fixed soon I will have to put RC Universe on my Spam list to block them!

I'm getting them too. I haven't subscribed to anything either.

I already have. [] I don't know what they did, but I really wish they hadn't.

I have repeatedly un-checked "Glow engines email" and as soon as I click on OK the software puts the check mark back.

I cleared the database of old forum subscriptions

dave you must click the OK submit button below the list of forums (middle of subscriptions page) and NOT the one below the list of thread subscriptions (bottom of page). 2 separate forums on that page

I have clicked on that box repeatedly but the Glow Engines forum still does not show up on My Forums list. The good news is that the unwanted emails have stopped today.

when you go back to the subscriptoin page does it show checked off? if yes then search the myforums page because it might be under the wrong category or as a subforum of the wrong forum. we are working on this bug but if you can confirm that will help me.
