play poker? Lots of new users in the last couple of days, no posts,
just poker.

While we are on the subject, what about the hackers? I know for sure that we have been hacked more than once. I mean 10,000 points in two days, right! The greedy ones have been caught but what about the not so greedy? Are there more out there that I have'nt spotted? While I am on this rant I would like to comment about the "enhanced play" for advertisers and product raters. During the last cycle there were guys that had many times the play of the regular players and their scores were astronomicial. I know that the poker game is a tool to get incerased Ad revenue and that the rest of us play for free, but thats like sitting down at a table knowing that some players will get 15 cards per hand while the rest of us will get 5. I enjoy playing and can't wait for the next poker day to start, but I have no illusions of ever winning a prize here. Rant ended. k(BT)

There must be some precautions for people trying to hack the poker game. I was playing today and only four cards would show. I tried clicking on the icon and refresh the main screen. I got a message back saying "OldRookie...don't try to tamper with the game" or something like that. They must be monitoring for problems and not just going by a windfall of points to point out the cheaters.

Back to the subject of new usernames.....there are a few brand spankin' new users in the top 10 right now.......I don't think this is fair at all.....I hope that the top 10 winners have IP checks done on their usernames and are disqualified if they have more than one user ID. (unless it's a valid username that was created before the Poker games originated) If somebody has a bunch of usernames to play poker with, they're BOUND to get lucky with one of them.

We checked. It's kosher.

Next month, NO BONUS PLAYS FOR ANYONE.

We have plenty of checks in place for hackers and abusers of the contest. If somebody cheats they will get caught.

Also on the next poker contest we will likely make it so everyone gets 35 plays per day (use them or lose them) with no add'l plays for enhancements or anything else. Does this please everyone?

Marc, I like the idea of making it 35 play's per day with no bonus plays.
Man I would like to get one royal flush though.

I almost hit a royal flush a few weeks back. Off by one card. Had Ace hearts down to jack hearts and then 9 hearts. If only I got the 10 heart.
