I used to be able to navigate through this forum fairly quickly and post responses quick to peoples issues. Well a few months ago I guess the designers changed the site so that you have a time limit between sending two posts or PM's. This is horribly ANNOYING and just slows everything down sooooooooo freaking much! It's one of the main reasons I dont frequent this board so often anymore. It just has become tedious and too time consuming.

"You cannot posts two messages that close together" I HATE THAT!!!!!! I had to vent this!

The idea of anti dual posting is a good one, It's just the time limit should be droped to 30 seconds or summat. 1 minute is too long.

So what's the reason for the time delay???

1. Spam posting.

2. Spam scripts

there are some web automated scripts that can go into a forum board and tries to post 5000 posts per second. which will finally bring the server to a halt.The time limit stops this from happening.

There have been zero changes to this format and limit since the board opened. It was always this way. Maybe you are just posting faster these days and notice now.

Sorry. As indicated above this is a spam filter to stop robots. If you don't like it I apologize but it is necessary to keep robots from spamming.
