I've read all I can find on posting pictures but I run into the error "Error saving file to disk". The last one I tried was a 48k jpg file. Do I have to be more than a basic member to upload pictures? Some other problem?

Choose file - select file from hard drive says max 3000kb gif/txt/jpg are supported

OK - click the OK button

It now says "There was an error saving the file to disk." and a cancel button.

What Browser are you using?

Can you please tell me how to post pics. I do not have a digital camera so I have to rely on my scanner.

The main thing is to save them in the right format. RCU supports gif/txt and jpeg. Remember also RCU has a 3000kb limit. Click the post new/reply and at the bottom of the box you type your message in says "click here to upload". click that and then click the choose file. If you are using OS X Safari won't upload to RCU for some reason. Mozilla works and I would assume Internet Explorer would also.
