How do you guys get your avatar to be small enoughf to fit and yet be so clear, my avatar sucks can anyone help?

I took a sorta hi res photo of my truck with a digital cameral then resized it with Paint Shop Pro..

You need to resize it, i believe you can do it in windows "paint", or as mentioned before in paint shop pro. I downloaded a windows "powertool" which allows the resizing of any picture just by right clicking on it and then selecting "resize" and specifying the dimentions required.

A lot has to do with how much information you're putting in the picture. The more you try to squeeze in, the worse the picture will look.

Look at these two pics which are Avatar size. In the close up, there's a lot less of the truck seen, but the image is a lot clearer
