I'm only getting the new home page intermittently. Sometimes I get the new page and sometimes the old page.

"My Forums" page indicates that I last visited on 08/29/05. Nothing is updating. I'm here every day--sometimes several times in 1 day. I can read recent posts sometimes and other times it's all only refreshed up untill 8/29/05/

Is it my computer or the site?

I set my explorer page back to defaults and dumped my cookies and temp files. No luck. Turned my filters down to low settings and even disabled my firewall and virus protection temporarily--still no luck.

I run virus scans and get updated definitions almost daily. Supposedly--everything checks out on my end.

You have cached pages. If you can't connect to our server, your browser will default to an older version of the page. We don't have the old page up even. Sorry for the recent hiccups. The database server has been giving us a hard time.

So--is it my stored cache, or is it the server on your end?

How can I fix it?

clear your cache. go to tools menu and internet options. delete files option under the general tab (IE browser)

I cleared my cache this afternoon and I'm still stuck on the old pages.

It's intermittent. Sometimes I get current times and dates in the forums--and sometimes I'm stuck on 8/29

I'm gonna be tweaked if I got a bug or virus.[:@] I'm using all kinds of virus protection and internet protection. Updating my stuff all the time.

I'm about to burn all my family pics to disk and dump this computer. I just hate doing it because it takes a lot of hours to load back up and then go to microsoft and get all the critical updates. I gotta start all over with my virus protection too--and that takes hours of downloads to get all up to date again.

It was working fine untill 8/29. No problems--plenty fast enough, (as fast as a 550mhz can be).

I'm having the same problem with the Tower Hobbies site. It's still displaying the old adds from before Aug. 31st.

I'm afraid that it's on my end--not RCU.

Once you clear your cache it should all be clear. it is either your computer or your isp is using local caching so everytime you pull pages they serve you an old copy. check w/them before doing anytyhing drastic
