RE: Font size/color
Let me see if I can type this in where it shows up.
When you select Font Face, the program inserts [ font="Arial" ][ /font ] at the end of the body of text. What you actually need is your text enclosed in the brackets as [ font="Arial" ]This is my text.[ /font ] to get This is my text.. I have inserted spaces after '[' and befor ']' so it will display the text rather than the code.
Now, if you click color/red the select font size 6, it inserts [ color=#FF0000 ][ /color ][ size=6 ][ /size ]. What you need is [ color=#FF0000 ][ size=6 ]This is my text.[ /size ][ /color ] to get This is my text.. This requires so cutting and pasting to achieve when you click the buttons. I find that it is easier to just type in the codes.
The sets of commands enclosed in brackets are opening and closing commands. For instance, [ color=#FF0000 ] is the opening command for setting the color and [ /color] is the closing command to turn it off. Closing commands always begin with a '/'. For each opening command there must be a corresponding closing command to turn off the formatting. Now, you can combine opening commands to format the text exactly like you want it like this. [ B ][ I ][ color=#00FF00 ][ size=6 ][ font="arial" ]WOW!!![ /font ][ size ][ /color ][ /I ][ /B ] to get WOW!!!.
Does that explain it?

RE: Font size/color
This is what you put in: [ color=#990000 ][ /color ]to know![ /color ]. Notice that you have a closing command before and after your text. What you should have had is: [ color=#990000 ]to know![ /color ] to get "to know!".
This discussion is not about the weather so I don't want to hear that. We a supposed to have a high of 37 tomorrow and that is downright cold to me.

RE: Font size/color
Getting closer, Jerry. Here is what you have.
[ color=#990000 ][ size=5 ][ /size ]Merry Christmas[ /color ]
Once again, you have a closing command in front of your text. If you had place the closing command for size behind the text, you would have gotten what you want.
[ color=#990000 ][ size=5 ]Merry Christmas[ /size ][ /color ]
Merry Christmas
