Anyone else experiencing slow loading pages on RCU this past week? Is something up?

I've had some slow ones and the RCU poker has been really slow. So slow that I've stopped a couple times and gone off to do something else. ENJOY !!! RED

It may not necessarily be RCU. I had the same problem all last weekend. When I went to 'big' sites that downloaded and uploaded a lot of files (like RCU) it was slow as molasses. If I went to smaller sites (not too many big files), it looked OK.

I'm on Comcast, but it could be any provider. They just had a slowdown in our area last weekend. I don't know what causes it, and of course, they won't admit to it. I'd read something on the Internet that said to keep track of the 'slow' days and make a complaint when you get your bill.

I don't know if the above is relavent in your case, but I thought I'd mention it.

It seems to only be on RCU. When I originally posted, it was extremely bad, about 10-12 seconds per page. Most of the last week or 10 days has been about 3-6 seconds per page. That is not too bad, but 10+ seconds is long.

Just a thought - it might be worth running your anti-spyware or anti-virus utilities. Infections can slow down page loadings, amongst other things.
