Never has actually. If using Internet explorer, try iespell.com. If using firefox, try googles toolbar. If using something else search for a browser spell checker by searching google.

I beg to differ. I remember a long time ago when it quit inserting the corrected text, however it is just this past week that it has quit informing of any error and available corrections that could be inserted manually.

I use the item EACH TIME I AM ON RCU. If you just turned it off, then simply say so. After all it is your machine and forum. I'm just a paying user. I am expendable.

Horace,

I am aware of the error. I have not had a chance to do more troubleshooting on it. all checks show it "should" be working but doesn't so I need to spend more time on it. in the meantime much better spellchecks are here:

www.iespell.com

www.google.com/toolbar

they smoke what we had...

You're right Horrace, my thought was incomplete. It would still spell check, it just wouldn't insert the text for you. My apologies for the error in my statement.

Thank you much.

EDIT: It worked on a try. I fuss at some of the guys about their poor writing. Actually I'm the dumb bunny. Sp. Ckr. helps me try to hide that.

If used both of the IEspell and the Google toolbar spell checker, and IMHO the Google checker blows the doors off of IEspell. Give it a try, it's worth it. I also like the fact that the Google toolbar is available for both IE and Firefox, because I use both it's nice to have the toolbar because they look and act exactly alike which means I don't have to learn two different spell checkers.

Hope this helps

Ken
