I know this is a petty thing, but it seems to be a rather frequent subject in this forum. I STILL can't upload an avatar. I have flushed my cash, deleted all cookies, and even tried it from 3 other machines (different networks) and still no joy. My pic is well below the guidelines and I still get this error.
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0035'

/forum/js/PGDUpload.asp, line 437
I read the post about a bug and it was happening on 2 of the 4 servers, so I tried it like 20 times and still got that error. So, can someone help a brother out here? I have attached the file in question for scrutiny.
** update **
I looked at the image I was using and it was a little too big. I resized it and guess what? It still does not work. I have tried many size/file combos.

You resized it to 85x85 or smaller? Did you rename the image so your cache does not think it's uploading the old one? Logout, clear your cookies & cache and try it again. I don't see a reason it won't load for you.

I tried it all again. Still nothing. My image is 80x80 and is only 5kb. I have cleared the cache and cookies, renamed the file, still get the same error.

Since this is a VBscript / ASP error, it leads me to believe that this problem is a RCuniverse server issue (ASP is server side). I'm not trying to tell you how ot do your job or anything but there is a MSDN article on this issue at
[link]http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/276011[/link]
The other interesting thing is that I CAN upload photos to the forums.
Perhaps it is something I am overlooking on my end, or it is a network thing, but really I have no clue. Is there a way to attach it from your end? Like I said before, I know that this is petty, but being a web admin myself, this stuff drives me nuts on my own sites.

this is an error which will happen 50% of the time depending on what server you land on. we continue to work on the bug

yes..if you logon and it does not work you will have to be idle and offline for over an hour so your next session will tag you to another server. then you will have a 50/50 shot of getting on one of the working ones. My developer continues to debug this issue and is on it again tomorrow (monday).

we have it fixed on 3 of our 4 front end servers. it may also be fixed on the 4th but I cannot test until the load balancer pops me onto it one day hopefully soon!
