Default Post editing

Hi everyone,

I went to edit a post or two that I incorrectly typed, but found no Edit icon to do so with. The posts are not that new, but I am just wondering if it is possible to do this or not. Any help will be definitely appreciated.

You should see 4 buttons on your post and 3 buttons on mine.

My "edit " button is right in between the quote and forward buttons on top right.

After a certain amount of time, not sure how long, the edit button will go away on your own posts.

I think after 60 or 90 days the edit goes away. it is that way to preserve continuity. if you need an edit just ask a mod and they can happily help you out with an edit

I can edit my post from 6-1, but not from 5-31.

Thanks for the responses guys! I went through some posts and found all the older ones to be un-editable. I definitely understand the continuity issue in it, but I made a post with some incorrect info and stuff that I randomly pulled out of my mouth on a rant unfortunately(recurring problem), but the problem was solved and since a long time ago I wasn't able to edit it as so. Plus I am a lot more aware of what I post now, and I am aware of how I word diffrent things. In general I am a lot better than doing that now than I ever was back then. I would definitely like to edit it, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone,
Brandon
