Whenever I try to use fast reply, I get an error........

have you tried the POST REPLY just above the fast reply on the left?

yup, that works but its a real PAIN when you type a long winded reply in the fast reply box only to lose it as you submit it

I had that same problem a few months ago. I contacted Marc (RCadmin) and he fixed it somehow. Him or Plane Insane would probably be your best bet.

I used the Fast Reply to post a test in that thread and although it took awhile for it to go through, the post was successful.

still not working.......

I'll have it fixed in about 10 minutes...I know the problem...happens on very large threads where the subject line gets too long from all the replies
