selecting sub-forum pages
#1
IM trying to get to a certain page on the threads I can only get pages 1-5, then I hit next---goes one page at a time, then I hit >> and it goes to page 349? How do I get to in between pages? say,,,,Page 50. I was told there was a slide bar that you could select particular pages with.
I`ve tried everything. What I want is the gas engine forum, which is the sub-forum of giant scale aircraft.
YIKES!!! please help----thanks JIM

Scroll down to the bottom of the thread and you will see the same page selection options with the "<<","<",">>",">", as well as 9 page numbers you can select. There is also a drop down box next to those that you can use to select the exact page you want to select. See attached diagram
Hope this helps

There is no selection box for the Gas Engine Forum, which is what you're asking. The only way to do it is 5 pages at a time, sorry.
The "slide bar" as you put it is only available once you visit a forum and open an actual thread containing multiple pages.
The ONE option available that would help you visit these archived forum pages faster is by altering the URL in the address bar of your browser. For example the URL for page 2 of the gas forums is:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/foru...smode_1/tt.htm
Where you read "p_2" in that url change it to read "p_50" since you want to visit page 50 and hit enter on your keyboard. Do likewise for other pages "p_51" "p_52" and it will send you to that specific page.
Hope that helps, sorry there isn't a drop down menu for the pages to make that a little easier.
