Default Searching problem

I'm going nuts trying to get this to work. I'm trying to find all of my posts in the Tachometer Readings forum. I go to the search page, select the forum, put my id in the By Author field and hit Ok. Instead of seeing my posts from the Tachometer Readings forum, I'm getting posts from every forum I've posted in.

I know this used to work in the past, but recently it seems I can't limit a search to a specific forum.

Where it says BY AUTHOR on the left, type your name. Then click TACHOMETER READINGS under SEARCH IN FORUM. It sounds like you've done that and it's not working. The only thing I can think is to make sure when you click the specific forum you want make sure that is the only forum selected. Other than that, I don't know why you couldn't do this.

This must be payback for something I did in the past!

I clicked on your link. The attached picture shows a portion of the results. As you can see, it's not working for me. []

Did a bit more experimenting. Found this fails on Mozilla, which is what I use nearly all the time, but not MSIE. I signed off RCU, cleared the cache in Mozilla, and still have the problem.

So far that's correct. I've only got Mozilla and IE on this laptop. I use Mozilla nearly all the time.

Edit: for grins I just installed Firefox. Fails there too. Since it shares much with Mozilla, I'm not surprised...
